Mr. Jay Conn, Parks and Recreation Director, thanked the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB) Master Plan Subcommittee for their hard work on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. He stated that the projects within the plan will be brought before Council within the next ten years and reminded Council that they will have an opportunity to review the projects and vote on them at that time. He introduced Mr. Todd Deery, PRAB Chairman. Mr. Deery expressed his appreciation and praise to the Parks and Recreation Director and the Master Plan Subcommittee for their hard work, and dedication, in the completion of this project. Ms. Ellen Goldstein and Mr. John Bauer provided a power point presentation on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Mayor McDonald opened the public comment period.

Mr. Vance Guthrie, 1504 Druid Isle Road, thanked the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for their hard work. Additionally, he stated that $300,000 has been set aside for the Maitland Concourse North - eagle preserve, and questioned what that money could be used for if it could be used elsewhere.

Mr. Kay Yeuell, 220 White Oak Circle, expressed his admiration to the Parks and Recreation Board for their work.

There being no one else who wished to be heard, Mayor McDonald closed the public comment period.

After discussion, a motion was made to adopt Version 2.0 of the Maitland Parks and Recreation Master Plan as presented.
